The Legacy Center serves as EDGE Global's Center of Excellence for leadership philosophy, educational justice, democracy, global citizenship, and cultural understanding. Drawing inspiration from Athens as the birthplace of democratic thought, the Center brings together scholars, educators, students, and global leaders to explore how wisdom from the past can help solve the challenges of the future.
Why This Center Exists
The Legacy Center was created to preserve the enduring values of leadership, justice, dialogue, and civic responsibility while preparing future generations of leaders to create more equitable, compassionate, and globally connected communities. Leadership is strengthened by understanding history, philosophy, culture, and diverse perspectives. From Athens, the Center draws on one of the world's deepest wells of democratic thought to inform how leaders and institutions can navigate complexity with wisdom and integrity.
